Who We Are

Teamsters Local 653 was chartered in 1934. We now represent 2000 working men & women in the South Shore area. Our membership is diverse including U.P.S., freight companies. beer & liquor distributors, trade show employees, bus drivers, steel workers and many other groups.

Teamsters Local 653 participates in many community activities & charities including annual toy drives for our local military families as well as blood drives and scholarship funds.
